From now on this blog will no longer accepting or approving any new comments (except for this post of course, obviously to let you to give your last words to this blog). I already have a new blog to supersede this which is accessible at http://www.halfey.com. Despite that, I’ll continue maintaining this blog and both blogs will be updated simultaneously, but if you have comments to say, please go ahead to halfey.com instead. Don’t worry, all of your old comments here (if any) have been transferred to the new blog so should you want to add something, just go to the corresponding article and do what you wanted to do. See you at halfey.com

*Comments for this post will be acceptable until the end of 2011.

Actually the price for anime DVDs could go down further if the licensees did not spend money unnecessarily for English dub as well as for their own sub. Apparently many fansub groups made available their subtitles for free and those anime licensees could use them too but perhaps they didn’t want to give credits to those fansub groups (probably because they want to have all the credits for them) thus they prefer to come up with their own sub which is always crappy, even worse than the lesser known, small fansub group, and adding unnecessary extra cost to the DVD price in the process.

There’s always something wrong with all generic harem anime. No matter how unpopular the male lead among girls at first, he always have at least one super cute childhood friend (usually of the same age). In some other cases, if that male lead have no cute childhood friend, it might be substituted by a hot-looking mother (usually at MILF level) or a cute brother-complex little sister or a close (sexy) cousin. For me a true harem anime should be consisting of a male lead who started with with no relationship with any girl at all (zero relationship), even with a female childhood friend.
